Detailed Solution

It is given that a hall room which has length of 39m 10cm and breadth of 35m 70cm is paved with equal tiles.
We know that 1m=100cm.
The measurements are converted to cm,
Length = 39m 10cm
=39×100cm+10cm
=3900cm+10cm
=3910cm
Width = 35m 70cm
=35×100cm+70cm
=3500cm+70cm
=3570cm
To get the length of the sides of the square tile, we find the Greatest Common Divisor of 3910 and 3570.
The GCD of 3910 and 3570 is 170.
Area of the hall=3910×3570
Area of the hall=13958700cm2
Area of one square tile=170×170
Area of one square tile=28900cm2
Therefore, the number of tiles =1395870028900 483 tiles
Hence, the correct option is 2.
