Given: Inner Radius (r1 ) = 1 m and Outer Radius (r2) = 1.01 m

Here we will use the formula of volume of hemisphere  = (2/3) π(R3– r3)

Substituting the values,

Volume of the iron used in the hemispherical tank = (2/3) × (22/7) × (1.013 – 13)

 = 0.06348 m3.
