A convex lens is first made to have a hole in it. Now, an object is positioned in front of the convex lens to generate the corresponding image after refraction through the lens.
Now that the object is emitting an infinite number of light rays, those light rays will be refracted and converged to form the corresponding image. Unfortunately, a few light rays won't be able to undergo the necessary refraction because of the hole. As a result, the image's light intensity will drop. The image will now appear somewhat flat. The size and position of the image, however, will not change.
