Detailed Solution

Given , h = 21 cm , inner diameter = 6cm, outer diameter = 10 cm, Inner radius =6/2=3 cm Volume of cylinder              = 𝜋r2h
= 22 × (3)2x21
7
=22x9x3
=594 cm3
The volume of inner cylinder is 594 cm3
Now, we will find the volume of outer cylinder Outer diameter = 10 cm
Outer radius= 10 = 5 cm
2
 Volume of outer cylinder= 22 × 5 × 5 × 21
7
= 22 × 25 × 3
= 1650 cm3
Now, we will subtract the volume of the outer and inner cylinder. Volume of metal = 1650-594 = 1056 cm3
