Given,
A is thrice as good as work man as B. So,
Time taken ratio of A;B=1:3
Here, the time difference,
(3−1) = 2 days,
Suppose A finish the job in = x days
So, B finish the job in = 3x days
One day work of A =

\frac{1}{x}

One day work of B =

\frac{1}{3 x}

Now, A can finish a job in 60 days less than B. So,

3 x - x = 60

x = \frac{60}{2}

x = 30

So, time taken by A to finish the job = 30 days,
time taken by A to finish the job,
=

3 x

= 3 \times 30

= 90

days
Thus,
A's 1 day's work

= \frac{1}{30}

B's 1 day's work

= \frac{1}{90}

(A + B)^{'}

s 1 day's work

= (\frac{1}{30} + \frac{1}{90})

= \frac{4}{90}

= \frac{2}{45}

So, A and B can complete the task in

\frac{45}{2} = 22 \frac{1}{2} days .
