Detailed Solution

A judge can be removed through impeachment. It is almost impossible to remove someone from their position as a judge on the Supreme Court or the High Court once they have been appointed. It is just as challenging as ousting the Indian president. Only an impeachment motion passed independently by two-thirds of the members of the two Houses of Parliament can remove a judge from office. In India's democratic history, it has never occurred. India's judiciary is autonomous, and the political executive has very limited room to meddle. Thus, a judge can be removed through the process of impeachment.
