Detailed Solution

After meiosis I the cell has ‘n’ no. of chromosomes and ‘2c’ amount of DNA
The leaf cell initially has 2n no.of chromosomes and 2c amount of DNA.
In this case 2n=44 chromosomes
2c=50 pg of DNA
During Interphase,
The number of chromosomes remain 2n but the amount of DNA becomes 4c.
Therefore,
2n=44
4c= 100pg
After meiosis I
n= 22 chromosomes
2c=50pg of DNA
