Detailed Solution

A man buys lemons at 6 for Rs 10 and sells at 8 for Rs 15, his gain percent will be   12.5%.
Given that, a man buys lemons at 6 for Rs 10 and sells at 8 for Rs 15.
The cost price of lemon is = 10 6   .
The selling price of the lemon is = 15 8   .
We know that,
 Gain = S.P. – C.P.
Gain= 15 8 10 6 = 4540 24 = 5 24
To calculate gain %,
Gain  %  is = Gain CP ×100
Gain % = 5 24 10 6 ×100 = 5×6 24×10 ×100 = 50 4 =12.5%   The gain percentage is 12.5%.
