Given,
A man can row the still water = 14 km/h
The speed of stream = 10 km/h
Time taken to come back = 4 hours
Assume that
The distance = x
Upstream Speed

= 14 - 10 = 4 km / hr

Downstream speed

= 14 + 10 = 24

km /hr
Time

= \frac{Distance}{Speed}

As per given question

\frac{x}{4} + \frac{x}{24} = 4

\frac{7 x}{24} = 4

x = 4

= \frac{96}{7}

x = 13.71 km

This is the required distance.
Correct option is 2.
