Detailed Solution

Given,
Money given to wife =Rs. 14x.
Money given to son =Rs. 13x.
Money given to daughter = Rs. 1000.
Let total money the man had =Rs. x.
According to the given condition,
14x+13x+1000=x  x-14x-13x=1000  12x-3x-4x12=1000  5x=1000×12  x=Rs. 2400
The man had Rs. 2400.
Hence, the correct option is 1.
