Let the man works for

days in April and he is absent for

y

days.
Since, April has total 30 days.

∴ x + y = 30

.........(1)
According to question:

100 x - 10 y = 1900

\Rightarrow 10 x - y = 190

.........(2)
Adding (1) and (2), we get,

11 x = 220

∴ x = 20

Hence the man worked for

20

days in April.
