At point A, the angle of elevation is 30o.

 tan60=hy
 3=hy 

h=3y(i) 

In ACD,

 tan30°=hx+y13=3yx+y   [By using (i)]  

 x+y=3y 
x=2y 
y=x2 
A man walks x distance in 10 minutes.

The speed is uniform and not changing.
So, the time taken by a man to walk a distance will be 5 minutes.
