A man stands 10 m in front of a large plane mirror. He must walk 7.5 m before he is 5 m away from his image.
According to the question, the distance between the plane mirror and man is 10 m.
We know that the image formed in a plane mirror is at the same distance behind the mirror as the object is in front of the mirror, so here we want the distance between the man and his image to be 5 m. This means the distance between the man and the mirror is 2.5 m.
