Speed of the train is 30 km/h and the speed of the car is 10 km/h.

Speed of the train is 90 km/h and the speed of the car is 40 km/h.

Speed of the train is 80 km/h and the speed of the car is 60 km/h.

Given that a man travels 320 km by train and 280 km by car, in 8h and 40 min,
He travels 200 km by train and 400 km by car, in 9h and 10 min,
According to given condition,
Let the speed of train be x km/h and that of car be y km/h then,

320 x + 280 y = 263 … (i) 200 x + 400 y = 556 … (i i)

On solving above equations, we get, x = 80, y = 60

Therefore, the speed of the train is 80 km/h and the speed of the car is 60 km/h.
Hence, option (3) is correct.
