Let x, y and z be weight of apple, orange and mangoes

x = 7.2 kg, y = 5 kg

Given that the ratio of apples to mangoes is same as the ratio of mangoes to orange.

$\frac{x}{z} = \frac{z}{y}$

$z^{2} = x y$

$z = \sqrt{x y} \Rightarrow \sqrt{72 \times 5} = \sqrt{36} = 6 k g$
