We have to find the length of the block.
We know that density of a substance is given by,
ρ= Weight Volume   And volume of cuboid with length l, breadth b, height h is given by l×b×h.   So,
ρ= Weight l×b×h l= Weight b×h×ρ  
length= weight of block  width×thickness×density of marble   The density of the marble is 0.25 kg/cm3.
Substitute the known values in the formula,
  l= 112 28×5×0.25 l= 112 35 l=3.2 cm  
Thus, the length of the block is 3.2 cm.
