Given a metal sheet and its dimensions L = 27 cm, B = 8 cm and H = 1 cm.
As we know, volume of cuboid is,
V = LBH
Substituting the values,

V = 27 \times 8 \times 1

V = 216 c m^{3}

And Volume of cube, V= a³.

{V = 6}^{3} c m^{3}

Then, equating the volume of cuboid with volume of cube as

a 3 = 63 ⇒ a = 6 cm
