Breadth of canvas is 1.5m.
CSA of cone =πrl  , here r is radius, l is slant height.
CSA of cylinder =2πrh  , here h is height.

Question ImageTherefore, the height of the right circular cone is,
8.255.5 2.75m  
The slant height of the conical section,
l= r 2 + h 2 l= 15 2 + 2.75 2 l= 225+7.5625 l=15.25m  
Now,
Area of the canvas = Surface area of cone + Surface area of the cylinder,
πrl+2πrh π×15×15.25+2×π×15×5.5 718.9+518.57 1236.47 m 2  
 The length of the canvas,
1236.47 1.5 824.3m  
Thus, the required length of the canvas is 824.3m.
