Concept- Find the selling price of each notebook, subtract 15% of list price from the listed price, and then multiply the selling price of each notebook by 12 (as each dozen consists of 12 objects) to get the amount of 12 notebooks to be paid by students.
⇒ Discounted amount =15% of listed price
⇒ Discounted amount =15% of 30    ⇒ Discounted amount = 15100×30=4.5
Listed price is given Rs 30 and discounted amount = 4.5
∴ selling price = listed price - discount amount
    Selling price =30-4.5
                             =25.5
Selling price of each notebook = Rs 25.5
Amount by students = 12×25.5 
                                 = Rs 306
Hence, the correct answer is option 2.
