Detailed Solution

Let the digits in the tens be S and one’s place be 5-S.
Thus, number formed = 10S+5-S
By reversing digit, the number formed= 10(5-S)+S
According to question,
10(5-S)+S=10S+5-S+9
50-10S+S=10S+5-S+9
50-9S= 9S+14
-9S-9S= 14-50
-18S=-36
S= 3618
S=2 required number=10S+5-S
= 10×2+5-2
=23
Correct option is 2.
