A particle experiences constant acceleration for 20 s after starting from rest. If it travels a distance X1, in the first 10 s and the distance X2, in the remaining 10s, then X2=3X1.
We know that s=ut+12at2
Where, s= distance, u= initial velocity, a= acceleration and t= time
Let “v” be the velocity at t=1 sec
Then for first 10 seconds, as the particle starts moving from rest then u=0
Therefore, X1=0×t+12a×100
=50a
Now after 10 second the velocity becomes 10a, by using formula v=u+at
Therefore, X2=10×a×10+12×a×100
=150a
Therefore, X2=3X1
