Given, diameter = 7 cm and height of soup = 4 cm

Radius, r = d/2 = 7/2 cm = 3.5 cm

The volume of cylinder= πr²h

Using this formula, we have

(22/7) × 3.5²× 4 = 154

The volume of soup in one bowl is 154 cm³

Therefore, volume of soup given to 250 patients = 250 × 154 = 38500 cm³

= 38.5 litres.
