Detailed Solution

A person engaged in wholesale trade is called a wholesaler.
A wholesaler is a person who buys goods in bulk for further selling. The wholesaler can be both small and large scale. Large-scale wholesalers buy products from producers who produce the products in factories and sell them to smaller-scale wholesalers. They provide the link between the producers and the traders. The producers do not sell individual items, so the customers can not directly contact them. So the prominent role is played by wholesalers in the market chain. They have both optimum storing space and money for the goods in bulk. Further, traders buy from them and sell to the retailers from where customers buy the products.
