A person has shared one-third of his total property to his son, one-fourth to his daughter and the remaining is to his wife. His wife's share is ₹ 18000.
His total property = son’s share + daughter’s share + mother’s
Let the total property worth be x.
According to the question,

x = \frac{x}{3} + \frac{x}{4} + 18000

.
Solve the above equation for x.

x = \frac{x}{3} + \frac{x}{4} + 18000

x - \frac{x}{3} - \frac{x}{4} = 18000

LCM between a prime and another is always the product of the numbers.

\frac{12 x - 4 x - 3 x}{12} = 18000

\frac{5 x}{12} = 18000

\frac{x}{12} = 3600

x = ₹ 43200
So, his net worth is ₹ 43200.
Hence, option 1 is correct.
