We come across several poor people in our day-to-day life. They can be street cobblers, rag pickers, beggars, and vegetable vendors. There are multiple ways through which we can describe poverty-stricken people:
1)      Chronic Poor: People who are living a constant life of poverty are chronically poor. These people experience a life of poverty for several years.
2)      Churning poor: People who go in and out of poverty, like seasonal labourers and farmers, are called churning poor.
3)      Transient poor: Transient means temporary. Some people who might be well-off most of the time but, due to bad luck, experience the situation of poverty are called transient poor.
