We are given the departure and arrival times of a plane at an airport.

Departure time = 1 : 23 P . M . = 1 hr 23 \min

Arrival Time = 4 : 10 P . M = 4 hr 10 \min

Duration of flight = arrival time - departure time

= 4 hour 10 minute - 1 hour 23 minute

To find the difference between the minute parts of the times, we subtract 23 from

60 + 10 = 70
