The speed of the pulse is

Given,
Length,

l = 4 m

Number of times reflection at point of creation

= 6 times

Time,

t = 10 s

Now, the distance travelled can be calculated as the product of the length, time. Also, since the pulse returns after the reflection, the distance is doubled. Therefore,

\Rightarrow Distance = 4 \times 6 \times 2

\Rightarrow Distance = 48 m

Now, by the formula of speed,

Speed = \frac{Distance}{Time}
