A racing car has a uniform acceleration of 4 m/s². After 10 s from the start, it covers a distance of 200 m.
Given: a = 4 m/s², t = 10 s, u = 0
Formula: S = ut+12at²
here, S= distance, u= initial velocity, a= acceleration and t= time
Putting all the values we get,
⇒ S = 0+½(4)(100)
⇒ S = 200 m
Therefore, the distance travelled in 10 s is 200 m.
