From the fig. the incident angle,
It is given that, AB=BC
So, <A=<= 45°
= 45° (The ray of light is parallel to the base of the prism).
The refractive index of the glass,
 = 1.5.
By Snell’s law;
n=sin i sin r  ;
Where is the angle of refraction.
Using the formula,
n=sin i sin r  
 1.5=sin 45° sin r 
 sin r= 1/23/2 
 sin r= 232 
 sin r= 23
