The length of the grassy plot becomes 56m−2.5m−2.5m = 51m and the breadth of the grassy plot becomes 39m−2.5m−2.5m = 34m.
The area of the grassy plot only is 51 ×34m = 1734 m2.
the area of the gravel path is equal to
2184m2−1734m2 = 450m2 .
The cost of constructing the path Rs.4.5 per metre square. So, the cost for constructing the gravel path is 4.5×450 = 2025.
