If l is the length, b is the breadth and h is the height of the cube, then,
Total surface area of 4 walls = 2(l +b)h -eq.(1)
Total surface area of 4 walls =

⇒ T o t a l surface area of 4 walls=301m 2

Area of 2 doors

= 2 l 1 × b 1

Multiply equation (7) with Rs 3.50 per square meter to find the cost of painting 4 walls. Cost of painting = Rs

289 × 3.50
