Detailed Solution

Given: Ratio = 3:4

Let the length of the first and second part of the rope be 3x and 4x respectively.

Therefore, 3x + 4x = 91

⇒ 7x = 91

⇒ x = 13

∴ Length of 1st part of the rope = 3x = 3(13) = 39 cm

 Length of 2nd part of the rope = 4x = 4(13) = 52 cm
