Detailed Solution

A satellite should be able to reach orbit with its launch speed. The satellite is launched from the equator since there is less gravitational force there. As a result, it picks up speed.

The earth's gravity (g) fluctuates depending on whether it is at the equator, north pole, or south pole (s). The elliptical shape of the earth accounts for the fluctuation in gravity (g) that results from travelling into its surface. Gravity (g) is at its lowest near the equator (E or) in comparison to all other locations on the earth's surface. The fact that there is less gravity at the equator of the globe helps in satellite launching because a satellite launched from there enters space with very little gravitational attraction.

Due to inertia, a satellite that is sent into space and is orbiting the planet moves at the same speed as it did previously. When a satellite is launched from the equator, the earth's gravitational pull on it is reduced, which causes it to obtain good speed right before circling and maintain that speed while rotating around it owing to inertia. This speed will enable the spacecraft to maintain a steady speed while in orbit.
