Given, diameter of the glass = 7 cm
Radius of the glass,

r = \frac{7}{2} cm

∴ Milk contained in the cylindrical glass = Volume of the cylindrical glass

= π r^{2} h = \frac{22}{7} \times \frac{7}{2} \times \frac{7}{2} \times 12 = 462 {cm}^{3}

Now, milk required for 1600 students = milk required by one student× number of students

= 462 \times 1600 = 739200 {cm}^{3}

= \frac{739200}{1000} = 739.2 L [∵ 1 {cm}^{3} = \frac{1}{1000} L]

Thus, 1600 Students will require 739.2 L of milk.
