Let the cost price (CP) of the item be Rs. x.
Selling price (SP) is,
SP= 100+ profit % 100 CP 100+10 100 x 110 100 (x) 1.1x  
Therefore,
Profit=1.1xx 0.1x   So,
0.1x=56 x=560  
Thus, the advertising price is,
1.1x 10.23  
560 1.1 0.77 800  
Hence, the advertised price is Rs.800.
