Detailed Solution

Given:
Sold articles price= 25
In the 1st case
Selling price of 1 article = Rs. 45.
Given discount on per article = 10 %
Selling price after given discount = 100% - 10 % = 90 %
Profit gain = 50 %
Suppose that
Marked price of each article = Rs. x
Then,
Selling price = 90% = Rs. X then,
45=90x100
x=45×10090
x=50
Now calculate the cost price (C.P.) of the article
C.P=Rs. 100150×45
C.=Rs. 30
In the 2nd case
Calculate when no discount given per article then
Profit gained
=Rs. 50-30
=Rs. 20
And Profit %
 =2030×100%
=6623%
Hence, if not given discount on article then profit gained 6623%.
Correct option is 4.
