Detailed Solution

A situation where workers are apparently working but less than their True potential is called Disguised unemployment.
Disguised unemployment refers to a type of unemployment where people are apparently working, but they are made to work less than their true potential. In this case of unemployment, it seems that the person working is employed, even though he is not contributing anything extra to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of the country in reality. This kind of unemployment can be seen in rural areas where a majority of the population is dependent upon agriculture as a main source of income. For instance, if the productivity of a piece of land requires only three people to work on it, but if instead of three, five people are working on it, then the two extra people are said to be disguised as unemployed.
