K=1kgwt/cm=100kgwt/m

Increase in tension of spring = 100x kg – wt
(A=100cm2=102m2)

Increase in buoyancy = 1001002x×1000kgwt

Total unbalanced vertical force on the cylinder = 100x+10x=110xkgwt
