Detailed Solution

The percentage (by volume) of alcohol in the solution is 6.95%.
A solution is made up with solvent and solute. Here water is solvent and alcohol is solute and  when both components are in liquid phase then a larger amount of component (water) is solvent and shorter amount of component (alcohol) will mix with each other to form a solution.
Volume of solute(alcohol) = 5.6mL
Volume of solvent  = 75mL
Volume of solution = volume of solute + volume of solvent
    = 5.6 + 75
    = 80.6 mL
Percentage (by volume) of alcohol = Volume of alcohol Total volume of solution×100   = 5.680.6×100
  = 6.95%
