We know that the speed formula in terms of wavelength and frequency is:
Speed (v)= wavelength (λ)×frequency (f).
According to the question given,
Wavelength (λ)=50 cm=50/100 m=0.5 m
Frequency (f)=5kHz=5000 Hz
Speed (v)=f×λ
V=5000×0.5=2500 m/s

The distance traveled in 4sec=speed x time 

=2500×4
 =10000 m

The distance traveled in 4sec=10 km
