We know that, Velocity=frequency × wavelength
Frequency(n)=1000 Hz
Wavelength, λ=33 cm
                       = 0.33 m
Distance = 1 km
               = 1000 m
According to the formula v=× λ
Speed of the wave
= 1000 ×0.33
v= 330 m/sec
Therefore, time taken t= distance/velocity
t= 1000/330
t= 3.03 sec
