A, B & C's partnership ratio
$= 4 \times 12 : 6 \times 8 : 5 \times 8 = 6 : 6 : 5$
Let A,B and C 's profit are 6x,6x and 5x respectively.
According to question,
$6 x - 5 x = 250 \Rightarrow x = 250$
