It is given volume of water= 15.625 m3 and present depth of water=1.3 m.
The volume of the cube whose edge is x is given by,

V = x 3

volume of the tank is 15.625 m

x 3 =

15.625

x = 1562510003

x = 2531033

x = 2.5

Present depth of water is 1.3 m, so the depth of water used will be

2.5 − 1.3 = 1.2 m

So, the volume of the used water,

V = l × b × h

V = 2.5 × 2.5 × 1.2

V = 7.5
