It is given that the length of the string is 1 m and 20 cm. This string is bent into the shape of a regular pentagon, which has 5 equal sides.

∴ The perimeter of the regular pentagon = 1 m 20 cm

= (100 + 20) cm [Since, 1 m = 100 cm]

Perimeter = 120 cm
