Given,
Number of kaju barfis= 420.
Number of badam barfis =130.
The area of the tray occupied by the stacks of barfis will be least when she places the maximum amount of barfi’s in each stack.
Since, the stack have same number of barfis,
So, we find HCF of 420 and 130.
By using Euclid’s division algorithm, we have,
420=130×3+30 130=30×4+10 30=10×3+0  
Thus, the last non-zero remainder is 10.
HCF(420,130)=10  
Hence, the sweet seller should make stacks of 10 for both kinds of barfis.
Therefore, option (1)     is correct answer.
