A tabletop measures 2m 25cm by 1m 50cm. What is the perimeter of the tabletop?

 

Given,

The length of the tabletop = 2 m 25 cm = 2.25 m (we know that 1 cm = 1/100 m)

The breadth of the tabletop = 1 m 50 cm = 1.50 m

The perimeter of the tabletop = 2 (length + breadth)

= 2 (2.25 + 1.50)

= 2 × 3.75 m

= 7.5 m

∴ The perimeter of the tabletop is 7.5 m
