Given,
The angle of elevation of the top of the tree = 60 °   Distance of the point= 20 m
The angle of elevation of the top of the tree = 30 °   We use the trigonometric identity tanθ= perpendicular base  .
We draw the diagram,

tan 30 ° = AB BC 1 3 = AB x [tan 30 ° = 1 3 ] x= 3 AB.......(i)  
We get the value of DB from ΔABD   ,
tan 60 ° = AB DB 3 = AB x20 [tan 60 ° = 3 ] AB= 3 x20   AB= 3 x20 3 AB+20 3 = 3 x x= AB+20 3 3 ........(ii)   We determine the value of h by using the equations (i) and (ii),
3 AB= AB+20 3 3 AB 3 = AB+20 3 3 3AB=AB+20 3 2AB=20 3   AB=10 3   m
Thus the height of tree will be 10 3 m  .
Therefore the correct option is 1.
