Detailed Solution

The currency that was extensively used in France was Livre.
Every exchange found it suitable for various purposes. Tithe, a tax levied by the church that represented one-tenth of agricultural output, was known in late eighteenth-century France. One-tenth of the agricultural output was the subject of the tithe, a religious levy. The tax was paid with Livres. Only the third estate, made up of farmers and peasants, was required to pay this tax. They did not have any social advantages, and the higher two estates either directly or indirectly oppressed them. Taxes were collected from them by the top two estates.
