Area of steel sheet at 20°C = a2 b2
Given that    a1b1=a2b2           ....(1)
Let the common temperature be T. Then at temperature T, the lengths of the two sheets are respectively
a11+αB(10-T)  and  a21+αS(20-T)
Now,  a11+αB(10-T)×b11+αB(10-T)
            =a21+αS(20-T)×b21+αS(20-T)
or   1+αB(10-T)2=1+αS(20-T)2 a1b1=a2b2
Substituting the values of αB and αS and solving we get
T=375C
