Let the population be P. The increased population = P+1200
Since, population decrease after 11% = P−32. Total population decrease = 1200+32= 1232
Now,
11% of 1200 =

\frac{11}{100} \times 1200

11 % of P = 1232 - 132

11 % of P = = 1100

1 % of P = = \frac{1100}{11}

100 % of P = = \frac{1100}{11}

×100
So, the population is 10000
